25 year’s edition boxster. What colour you chose?
Discussion
I have to say,my wife had a GTS a few years ago, then i got her a 650 maclaren, round the twisty roads where we live in essex, there wasnt a lot of noticeable diffrence in the two handling wise. What i mean is the maclaren was 4 times the price of the GTS,but didnt feel like 4 times better.

Congratulations, I was wondering when (if) we would start to see these out in the wild and it's good to see that is now happening. The colours look a bit more subdued compared to the launch material but I guess that might be the light. Having said that I'm also glad I've not gone for the red interior but as they say each to their own.
Its interesting to hear your thoughts on handling, I think a lot of people see this as a marketing exercise rather than a GTS in drag especially with the red interior
I know what you mean with regard to the stickers badges, retro colours on some parts etc. I see that EVO have just done a test on the stock GTS PDK and given it 5 Stars, this 25th has a lower PASM option. Had a good drive back to back with my speedster this Morning, I know this is all subjective and we all like different things along with that the 500bhp engine in the speedster with its ITBs and MT is something very special, but from a handling fun to drive point across fast twisty B roads that I know well, my preference would be for the Boxster 25th no question, it feels so sharp, planted and agile. Its interesting to hear your thoughts on handling, I think a lot of people see this as a marketing exercise rather than a GTS in drag especially with the red interior

If you don't mind me asking can you say what your car's number is on the dash or if not the range its in? Assuming they're building them in order since your's is the first I've heard that's been delivered I would assume it's quite low down but if it's over say 1,000 my order's probably buggered.

That sounds really positive but you need to stop now because I've started salivating and it's putting the dog off her food

Let's hope we have some decent weather this summer and you get to enjoy your car even more.

I know it would be a very dull world if we all liked the same thing but WOW that Interior is fking awful! To me it would feel like driving about in a womb!!! But thats just my choice.
Lol, I know what you mean, a while back I used to have a 86 930 Flatnose 330Bhp Sport in white with full Can Can Red trim, this car reminded me of that. Looking back think I wish I had gone for a Black car now, but would keep the Red trim.
Lotus meets Porsche, more unique, way nicer IMO.
wow, thats gotta keep you awake at night buying the car and then instantly regretting the colour choice. Perhaps it is the pics, as I can't believe in real life it looks that horrid,...your camera settings can't be right.

Wow. Looks great. When did you get it ?Glad to see some strong colour combination on a sports car. Don't worry about the resale colour guys in executive new build Barratt boxes.
Enjoy.

Don't get me wrong I don't mind GT Silver, it was just that due to lockdown COVID etc there was no chance to see the actual cars before ordering. If there had been, I think I would have gone for black but kept everything else the same. Very happy with the car so much fun to drive.Boxsterjon said:

You are right - it would be. I think it looks absolutely fantastic! Now people have a 25 it will be interesting to see how much the flipped cars command. The spyder is still way over list even for 19 reg cars with 5 and 6K 2 owner cars.
I love the red interior but should have the option of black dash and steering wheel.

I think the silver / red combo will be the desired option in years to come, if looking at it from the value aspect. Taking away values, it would be my pick anyway.
Though there is no ‘wrong’ combo. If it’s your money and you like it then who cares about others feelings towards it.
I don’t think the 25 will do anything silly price wise but it will certainly retain higher value over a GTS I feel.

I think production delays and long lead times are likely to keep residuals high more than it being a limited edition. Also I think pdk's will hold their value well. Same. Another August build here after my original May build was cancelled
Similar situation. Original car with a June delivery was cancelled by Porsche. Now re-ordered and August delivery with a price increase. Did you also get stung with increased cost?L.Len said:

And that price increases the premium of 25 over the GTS. The % increase was roughly the same, but the GTS 2022 models get the parking sensors in the std price offsetting the increase. Nothing similar on the 25.
Didn’t realise that. My opc said you ger something on the b25 to sort of explain the price increase ?I’ll check sure he mentioned parking sensors
