Of course you're not - it will look great with the GT Silver and as the car should look for a special anniversary model.

Not at all: it will look fabulous in my opinion - classic Porsche colours.

The bottom line is we all have different tastes in colours. I couldn’t have a black, white, yellow, python green and several other exterior colours but it doesn’t make them bad colours or mean I am “right”.

I like your choice, but more importantly I hope you love your choice - what anyone else thinks is irrelevant.

Thanks mate. Fingers crossed. Just I’ve been driving a boxster with black leather and red stitching and red dials for a few days. And I like it.

I’ve had both - red in my RS60 and black with red stitching in my current 981 GTS.

Personally if I was getting a 25 edition I would go for classic red. But, per my earlier comment, it doesn’t matter what I think. You honestly can’t go wrong with either: both are stunning.

Wow. That’s good news. I thought all the uk allocation of 25 Ed had gone.
Nice one

Interesting. I assume it was another dealer, not the original one who had said ‘no chance’?

The dealer from whom I originally ordered a 4.0GTS last September rang me up last week and offered me a ‘25’ with October build. They had refused to give me a 25 when I said I wanted to upgrade back in January, so I went to another dealer who would. I’d kept both deposits down. I don’t want to swap dealers again though, the 2nd dealer has been excellent, put themselves out and secured me a car back in January when they were like hens’ teeth.

I suspect that there are a significant number of cars coming into the uk and some of the original people who secured allocations are turning them down.

I had reservations about the Red trim at first, as soon as i got the car i realised i had made the right decision. It works really well with the Ali trim and really makes the car IMO.

Maybe a few more than 80 or so cars coming to the uk then.
I can see a few hitting the used market towards the ends of the year

Do they come with PS4S's as default? if not then maybe the previous owner, of only 400miles, decided to change the tires. Most odd if so.

Was at PCGB today and their silver/red car was parked outside. If I was lucky enough to be in the position of getting one this is the colour scheme I would go for even though the gold does clash a little with the silver and red.
Congratulations to all those who have secured one.
