Anyone aware of any sitting at an OPC just now, just looking to see one in the flesh...

At OPC being prepared ready for Friday. Looks great in white with black, and mustn’t forget the gold stitching! Car number 461 on the plaque.
That’s the combination I started with. Make sure you post us some pictures. It’ll look fabulous. Found out today that mine has slipped a week for build start - now 8th October

Well I got some good news this afternoon, my car completed build today and will be heading to Emden at some point next week.
It does indeed look as though cars are starting to come through in greater numbers.
Great news. What’s the approx time scale now then ? When would you think you’ll be driving it home ?It does indeed look as though cars are starting to come through in greater numbers.

But unfortunately I'm away for a few weeks in October so probably won't see it or drive it until the end of the month.
Here is a bit of a curved ball. My B25 started build ages ago, end June I think?, sat around at the factory for weeks and weeks waiting to finish build, then sat around after build completion for a few more weeks waiting for more bits. Finally got released from the factory early this month. As far as I know its still enroute and the latest dealer delivery date is early October.
I had an email this week, direct from Porsche:
Dear Mr Bigmowley
Congratulations on the purchase of your new Boxster 25 Years (VIN: *************2368).
In order for you to maximise your Porsche experience, and enable you to unlock a full range of Porsche Connect services, your new vehicle has been added to your My Porsche account.
Bloody hell I haven't even seen it yet let alone paid for it!!!!
Its a bit premature I might not even keep the damm thing now as its so late!

Oh no. Sorry to hear. I was told I’d get mine in may then June. And so on. Think mines built now but like you say could be December before I see it. Good help the 2nd build slots. 2026 I suppose I had an email this week, direct from Porsche:

Very interesting, it’s a black steering wheel the Configurator shows red!
I’d prefer a black steering wheel. There does seem to be some oddities about - for example the configurator shows my manual car with red interior complete with black gear lever and gaiter (hence why I’d like a black steering wheel). But then I see this…. How is that done?EEnBEE said:

+ this, but with Bordeaux Red chosen, for the climate control strip in matching leather

I have never been that deep into the configurator in my life!
Not sure that any of those gearleaver options were/are on the B25 configurator.
Who knew?

There's a launch colour one at the experience centre at silverstone now...
Helped me a lot as I couldn't live with the red dash now I've seen it in the flesh.
If only the upper dash was black, the carpets balck (easy change) and the roof black, then be much better. But only as long as the rear lights were red, look so much better with the contrast between the red and the 4 lamps, which gets lost on the exclusive onesHelped me a lot as I couldn't live with the red dash now I've seen it in the flesh.

I wish, but not retired no. Yep you gotta go through every option. Surely when paying that money you would for a house or a new kitchen, so why not a car?I have never been that deep into the configurator in my life!
