Collected mine at last from London OPC after having full ppf at Topaz and ceramic coating at opc. Looks stunning.
Amazing experience.
Looks stunning. It’s a good choice to be different from the ubiquitous GT Silver. Manual or PDK? I hope you really enjoy your car - I think they’re fabulous, so enjoying mine. Amazing experience.

My build date is now this Friday! Yep boring silver and red!Voodoo Blue said:
Congratulations guys, it sounds like they're making a big effort to get all 1250 built and out of the factory before year end. Maybe they want to avoid the expense of producing new nomenclenture for any cars they would have had to build next year
Mine has to got to go back to the OPC. The Vodafone tracker system needs a hard reboot. Why they cant check if it works before handover i find hard to understand. All good fun.

These really are fantastic looking cars. I have a friend who's expecting one early next year and I can't wait to try it!
Totally agree they really are stunning cars and i love the wheels. Just had mine back from 48hr hard reboot of the vodaphone tracker. Hopefully all sorted now. L.Len said:

Very nice the wheels look really dark in this pic. What was your tracker fault ? My tracker is playing up on my 25 edition as well AIUI the problem is with the control unit fitted to the car. In the case of 718 this control unit is behind the dashboard. The workaround is to remove the fuse serving the control unit and wait for the battery to drain right down, hence a minimum of 24hr. Once drained down the control unit will reset.
The problem is that having been reset in this way, the issue is quite likely to recur. The only option then is to remove the dashboard and fit a new control unit. My car goes for the workaround next week, but it will not be a surprise if it subsequently fails again and needs the dashboard out and a new control unit fitted.
As I need tracker for insurance, I made sure the insurance company is aware of the problem and the necessary tracker waiver is in place.

I changed insurer to one that does not require a trakker following the issues people seem to have with it.
Infact even my OPC advised me to find an insurance company that does not have trakker as a condition of the policy.
Yes, I did the same thing. My insurer (Churchill) added the tracker endorsement AFTER I took out the policy without telling me. Was only after I had the details through that I noticed it. When I rang them up they flat refused to cover me for theft even until I had it activated at the OPC. So I moved on to another insurer (Admiral) and haven’t had it activated yet. Might hold off now until this is fixed by Porsche as it seems to be a widespread issue. My tracker is still working today after the reboot.
