Anyone know if the porsche driver experience day was included with the Boxster25 purchase. I just had an invite but it was for a GT4 order that i had allocated but i changed to the 25. I explained that to the driving centre and they advised my placement would likly be withdrawn.
My tracker is still working today after the reboot.
Yes, I had an experience day triggered by my 25 order….. Congratulations on your Boxster 25 Order etc. Of course, it was a Boxster GTS that I drove.

If you've got a valid code for the PEC just use it. There won't be any repercussions... Congrats on the 25, I sadly missed the boat on these.

I changed insurer to one that does not require a trakker following the issues people seem to have with it.
Infact even my OPC advised me to find an insurance company that does not have trakker as a condition of the policy.
Yes, I did the same thing. My insurer (Churchill) added the tracker endorsement AFTER I took out the policy without telling me. Was only after I had the details through that I noticed it. When I rang them up they flat refused to cover me for theft even until I had it activated at the OPC. So I moved on to another insurer (Admiral) and haven’t had it activated yet. Might hold off now until this is fixed by Porsche as it seems to be a widespread issue.
I will let you know if my reset tracker goes down again.

I did mine in a GTS as that's what I originally ordered and figured there wasn't much between that a a 25. I'd just book your slot and sort it out with them when you get there.

I was driving in the morning and suspect that you were in the afternoon as I didn’t see a grey Cayman GTS. These were the cars yesterday morning ( I was in the white Macan).

Very nice. I saw a black one at Das Feuer and it looked lovely in the flesh. Congratulations

7 weeks after getting my B25 and being careful to follow the manual and run it in properly I finally got to the point this week where I can start to explore the upper reaches of the rev band. And bloody hell it's brilliant.

To everyone else that has one of these fantastic cars, congratulations, have a great Christmas and I hope you get to enjoy your cars as much as I intend too in 2022 and beyond smile

Scoobyc , what do you intend to do about the front number plate ? I’m not keen on the mount that seems to screw into the bumper .

Possibly a stick on one, undecided just now and don't want to do anything I can't undo, like screws for the mounting plinth...

Mines here at last but will pick up in Jan seems silly to get a 21 registered car when it can be a 22 car even thought it will be wearing Y25 BOX!
Happy Christmas all xx

Speak to Four Dot plates. Amazing service, so helpful & they sized the plates to fit front & rear - no drill holes & all legal size. Take a look on their website, they may have put pics up of one having been done 😉

did you check that it's legal as it may be deemed as a show plate which isn't?
