25 year’s edition boxster. What colour you chose?
Discussion
Happy New Year B25 lovers. I hope you’ve been suitably exercising your cars over the festive break. I have now done over 500 miles, so over a quarter of the way to the full beans!
I thought some of you may be interested in these cutaway images. Those of you on Rennlist may already have seen them. Basically this guy over in the US has taken the core images from Porsche and with some hard work on Photoshop has produced an adaptive configuration to match your car (so, colour, wheels, gearbox, seats, etc.) You send off your Porsche code and he adapts the image to match your car.
I did this and am pretty chuffed. I am going to get it framed and up on the wall in the garage. You can also get that images for engine, gearbox etc that Porsche produce.
If you’re interested, here’s the URL for the thread. You PM Randy and he sorts it out for you. I’m not connected by the way, but just thought some of you might be interested.

WOW...they really lost that one. Serious bump/slide probably in the wet, slimy roads we have now. A good lesson for us all to warm the tyres up or get Winters on.julian987R said:
What a colossal waste of time that was then in ordering it from new.
Why say that? The person that owns the car may well have enjoyed the ordering/speccing, taking delivery experience, then putting a few miles on it and may even turn a small profit when he sells. Whats not to like?Mark V GTD said:

Can always spot a ‘flipper’……..chat about premiums, delivery estimates, how many cars are coming and ‘correct’ spec.
Yes...well said. You can see proof of that on here actually 981SPYGANG. I sat back and watched the comments for weeks and now I have the car I cannot think of any reason I would want to flip it other than ill health which god forbid! The problem as I see it is that the dealers do not to stop it because surprise surprise they benefit too.Margrai0 said:

Don't get it myself either. Took so long to get the car and the premium commanded privately does not appear to be that high. Anyway mine is a keeper bought it too enjoy it..peter777s said:

Great way to devalue these awesome cars 🙄

I didn't think these were trading at a premium so why would they attract flippers? I just got a call from my OPC asking if I wanted one as they have one to allocate.
Seems all 718 4.0's PDK's are trading at a premium, (especially at OPC's), probably due to short supply/long lead times. My OPC in London could have sold their allocation of B25's many fold. I thought all the cars had been built. The one you mention must be a B26 lol..
