Lovely thing Peter. I’ve specced the silver hoops also. Nice touch are the folding mirrors standard on the 25 years .?
Can’t remember
Thanks. Folding mirrors were an option, like most things Standard speakers are not as poor as I thought they were going to be, they are just about acceptable, but tbh listening more to the engine. Can’t remember
I specced Bose. But probably a waste of 800 quid

Well it was definitely worth the wait! Drives brilliantly.
Was thinking of an exhaust mod, but not sure if it will be needed.
Pleased with the PDK, does take some of the engagement away, but on balance prefer it.
Can understand the rave reviews that the 718 4.0 has received.
Totally agree. It drives so well. Love the engine and I prefer the pdk over the manual all day long. Was thinking of an exhaust mod, but not sure if it will be needed.

Are the cars being delivered to you with anything missing? Are you getting both keys?
Have both keys. Just missing the owners manual. I went for the 18 way seats, not entirely sure but apparently some cars across the Porsche range are missing some of the features due to the chip shortage.

Well I have finally joined the ranks of people who have taken delivery of a Boxster 25 Years late this afternoon. I've only had a short drive in it so far and not really had a chance to take pictures as it got dark shortly after leaving the OPC but am intending going for a longer drive tomorrow so hopefully the opportunity will be there to rectify that.
First impressions are very positive. Its obviously very familiar to me having owned a 718 2.0 Boxster (which I really liked, including the noise out the back) for 18 months but with the higher equipment levels and six pot motor it is very much a step up despite not being to fully open the taps until its got a few more miles on the clock which I'm really look forwards to.
Its been a great support group on this thread over the last few months and I hope everyone that has contributed to it gets to enjoy their cars as much as I intend to

Shall we have a 25 edition meet up before Xmas ?
Yes would be interested but pre Xmas is difficult. How about Spring when the weather starts improving?Be a total one off I reckon to get a load of edition 25 together in one space. Make a cracking photo opportunity. Let’s sort it for April / may / june time

I’d like a meet up of cars but earlier than that would suit me. Be a total one off I reckon to get a load of edition 25 together in one space. Make a cracking photo opportunity. Let’s sort it for April / may / june time
I plan to use the car over the winter as my wife’s daily so maybe a pre-meet meet??
