Upgrade from 981 GTS to 782 GTS 4.0?

Not a good tire compared to Michelin PSS/PS4S/Cup2

The steering was beyond worse IMHO;

- Verry slow initial steering response
- Too much self centering force (In long fast cornering I always had the feeling I had to fight the steering wheel, there was so much strong force to go to the middle position)
- Feeling of understeer, not very confident IMHO

PASM always felt to me to be more jiggly (technical term i know) and less direct than X73, and i've never driven a car with power steering plus but it couldn't have helped.

granted,the 981 steering isn't as sharp as the 982, but the biggest issue without a doubt is the Pirelli tyres. anyone with a 981 that wants a major upgrade to grip and handling should switch to Michelins (haven't tried Goodyears but have heard good things too) as they completely transform the car - more grip (especially in the wet and cold), better handling, more feel and as a bonus a slightly better ride too.
