Yes you can cancel it but there’s no refund on what you’ve paid for subscription.
Thanks. Can’t get my car into the opc for the hard reset till mid to end Jan. Surely vodaphone must reimburse lost days Boxster25 said:

Tracker module is possibly behind the dash, under the seats is too easy to get at...
Thanks so they’ve got to take my new car interior to bits possibly ? They need it for 2 days my insurance won’t insure me without an active tracker as well Same for me. MY21 GT4. Collected July.
Can’t remember the exact dates but my story is something like this.
‘Failed Health Check’ email from Vodafone end of Sept.
Reset by OPC early Oct. They admitted this didn’t fix the issue.
Back at OPC a few weeks later for hard reset (takes two days as car needs to be fully powered down and all software reinstalled). OPC claimed success.
Another ‘failed’ email from Vodafone on 7th Dec (they confirmed their system hadn’t ‘seen’ my car since 21st October!).
OPC too busy until 1st week of Jan to have another look…

I’ve asked Porsche for a refund on the £279 I paid approximately. It’s been nothing but trouble from the start
Ive just collected mine my opc kept it for the week to make sure the new software took hold. So far so good the work is just software other than removing and refitting a fuse. I was give a Macan to drive for the week. I will let you know if the tracker has any further problems after the reset.Boxster25 said:

Mine went in to get resolved
Broke again within days
Does an update resolve it? Or is this going to be a constant back and forth with the opc ?
The tracker on my 25 wasn't wonking when i took delivery in November, i had a text on my phone by the time i had driven Broke again within days

home advising that the tracker wasn't communicating with them. The car went back for a hard reset on the tracker which took 2 days and lasted two days untill it shut down again.
As mentioned in earlier thread car has been at OPC all week for the new software update. I know from my app that the reset was completed on Tuesday and its still operational.
You may be aware but if you go to your car connect app which is run by Vodafone and go into settings click on diagnostic, if it shows a green connection from phone to server but a red no connection from server to the car then the tracker isn't working if both connections are green then all is good and tracker is working. I will post another update on any developments.

Thanks for the info, but yep mine's bust - some kind of tracker issue home advising that the tracker wasn't communicating with them. The car went back for a hard reset on the tracker which took 2 days and lasted two days untill it shut down again.

Will go through the diagnostics with voda then take it to the opc. Hope yours gets resolved
My tracker has failed again after its second hard reboot and the software update being installed. I'm waiting to hear what is to happen. No point in fitting a new tracker unit apparently as the replacement ones fail as well. I have been told that Porsche GB will likley authorise an alternative replacement tracker but the car connect app won't function. That is all well and good but not a great solution for a company such as Porsche.
