I drove that car before Christmas nice basic spec and pretty good nick overall despite a few marks on the front bumper bonnet and mirrors.

Looks great in Guards red one of my fave colours.

Decidedly overpriced at £175k especially bearing in mind its basic list of just £140428.
Thanks I do try to look after them. It was actually £10K less than that in 2023 as it was a pre price rise car wink but I agree that is academic now. It’s perfect at list IMHO.
Looks like your old car got a £12K haircut last couple of days -£163K now!

Private sale shark blue gt4rs listed for sale, higher miles than most advertised but does look very nice.

Seems to be at or above retail pricing mind!

Maybe the colour will add a little value.

I was in my local OPC last weekend trying to see if they could help with one LOL

He brought up this specific car (I assume part of the same dealer network) at 175 where I then pointed out you could have PCCB's, Mag wheels, lower miles for less.... I'm not putting 2 + 2 together but it seems coincidental that we were looking at this exact car and others available with a higher spec and cheaper for this to suddenly be re-aligned with the market.

Can I ask, looking at the design of the cut away sections on the front wings, did you find your car got any stone chips/gravel rash down the side please - by stones being fired off the front wheels/via the cut away section please?

I had a track pack PPF put on before it turned a wheel so it should be perfect down there. It is a very vulnerable area. It covered the front wings, the sills and the intake sides. There were marks in the PPF after 3 track days but I doubt that it had damaged the paint underneath. I would guess that the dealer has removed the PPF now? Some of them don’t seem to like retailing cars with it on.

Thanks - my last GT4 I did the bumper, sills and intakes and it worked well. Didn’t do the wings though - was it the whole wing or just the lower down exposed part?

The whole of the front wing including the chamfered parts. My guy had a template specifically for the RS.

What is consensus/feel on where spyder RS pricing may be in day 18 months..? Do we know the approx numbers of each that will be built/sold for Uk?

Yup it’s my old one.

Spyder RS? Anybody’s guess. Very much depends on numbers delivered. Unlike the 4RS in my opinion the Spyder RS doesn’t have such a clear brief. The standard Spyder is such a bloody good all round car the RS detracts in as many areas as it improves. Great powertrain vs reduced useability especially in the UK. The Spyder hood is a bit of a PITA as it is, the RS goes one step further!
My guess is, like any limited numbers Porsche, it will be a safe place for ones money for the foreseeable future.

Tend to agree. Given both cars are a last hurrah of the small petrol engine Porsche platform pre EV and they both have the proper full house GT3 engine they will, in my opinion at least, be highly desireable so long as petrol is available! As safe a place as any to stick your hard earned…. Especially if you plan keeping the car longer term.

How many left suggest that at the end of Q3 '23 there were 188 GT4RS ... and in Q2 '23 Porsche registered 61 cars ...

Hence to the 188 we could shortly add '23 Q4 + '24 Q1 ... how many cars might this might be ?

There appear to be 26 cars currently for sale ... 24 of them with OPC's.

If there were 188 cars registered by end Q3 '23 that is roughly 4 per OPC, + some cars in Q4 and if OPC's are getting 2 cars in '24 then an estimate of 240-260 UK cars may not be far off the mark. When these cars were first announced, OPC's were saying they will get one, maybe 2....... they played a shrewd game.

Has been interesting week for 4RS.
Some price drops…
Few nearly new cars have come to market… 95miler at Silverstone.
Also unregistered cars fully loaded available at current list but that makes them a + 170k car….

Big price separation from 992 GT3 as that has stabilised and heading back up. 4RS is on current downward trend.
As i said from the start… it was always going to be a bit tricky for this car to find its level.

Looking forward to the start of the track season.

Same with the Dakar ?

To be fair, Porsche always said with the GT4RS that they would keep on making them ... stopping the "cooking" GT4 ... maybe it's the dealers who like to publicise this information ?
