I agree. They are under list cars.

I spoke with a well known reseller who I have bought from before and they said they would pay under list for a brand new car.
Let’s talk the market down wink
Market will be flooded soon and they’ll be cheap as chips smile

That wasn’t my intention so sorry to anyone who is an owner.

I was just sharing information which I thought may be useful to the community.

For anyone in the know are the mag wheels worth it as an £11500 option, or to put it this way can you tell the difference on the road between alloy versus mag for anyone that has driven both?

The Mayfair car is now £2k over list but no CCB and no mag wheels with 2 previous owners and 7600 miles.
I cannot comment on your questions, but I've watched this one for a while, other similar specs are still a bit cheaper... I think it's got some more to give given the mileage.

Interesting.

I've half given up looking for one now, given they'll be all of the '24 cars coming through and potentially '25 cars also, so there should be lots of choice towards the end of the year.

I did have an email from one dealer offering me a potential build slot, but I'd have to buy a car first, so no doubt the depreciation on buying an existing car would compensate for any overs on the right car.
In my experience, there’s not many “free lunches” with the RS, I’ve seen all the below happening:

Buy another car (friend had to do this with a Spyder then trade it back at a significant loss to him)
Take a poor trade in price on your current car
Take finance - whether you want it or not
Buy the matching watch
Take extras like ceramic coating from the dealer

Mind you our USA based cousins are still
Paying ADM of $40K plus for a car it seems….

On the subject of the Euro cyber stuff, I take it the rest of the world is unaffected (inc the US)? If so, suspect that many extra allocations will head that way

Can’t believe they’re trying that old chestnut to try and shift cars.

Exactly this for my 4RS. At least the car I “had to buy” was a GT4 so I wasn’t too bothered. Cost me £20k over the deal.
It’s why I am so bloody happy that my old car is costing an OPC a fortune right now smile. Plus I got to it all back when I got out of it, however that is not the point. No watch or finance thought.

I got the email too. Those red seats remind me of an S1 Elise and the red dials look hideous to me. Why do flippers spec cars so poorly i wonder - surely better to keep it neutral.

Anyone able to pull the autotrader price reduction data on this particular car from when it was first listed last year?

https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsch...

Dicklovett have moved it around dealership to try and sell it, looks to be a sizeable reduction today.

That’s all it shows, so maybe was. But it’s the current market that counts wink

This one’s still considerably over current list yet alone the old prices, so still plenty of money in it for the dealer or owner if SOR

What is interesting is that there could to a degree be a reversal in the EU and other markets affected by the cyber issues re the previous excess supply of cars to date caused by production now ceasing and the opposite effect in the UK i.e. further price easing due to the increased supply of cars.

Prepare to be swamped by Spyders. hehe

As previously posted it will be interesting seeing whether Porsche raise prices again this month.
Looks like bread and butter 718 are “sold out” in Germany but RS products are still available

https://configurator.porsche.com/de-DE/model-start...

Annual price rise will I suspect be over the coming couple of weeks - assuming they do raise prices again this year

Yes I also subsequently read somewhere that the future supply of EU RS cars may to a degree be less curtailed than first reported due to relatively low numbers compared to other 718 Cayster models.

Be interesting seeing how accurate this is time will tell I guess.

Slightly off topic here

I’ve just been offered a 4RS at list, problem is… too many cars and not enough cash. But I do want the car, so will be going down finance route with piss all down most likely.

Does anyone know what the balloons are on a new gt4 rs with Porsche?
Haven’t asked opc yet although I probably should..

A few weeks ago I was quoted a £78,850 final payment for a brand new car on a 4yr PCP with lowest possible mileage (5kpa).
