elt, ok, largish job, but surely air filters must be included if plugs are, otherwise what kind of a service plan is that?
I assume pad/discs are off the list too?
Filters are included if part of standard service scope, the exclusions are written for idiots, basically you are paying for just a major and a minor or a major and a minor with interim annual oil changes in-between....I assume pad/discs are off the list too?
it doesnt include a/c repairs, belts, tyres, fuel or oil top ups, dpf issues etc - its not a warranty, nor does it cover wear and tear.
Looks like a bargain however...
It’s built around a 4 year cycle of a major and a minor (that everyone would need in that timeframe) so it’s not possible to accommodate the 6 yearly or 12 yearly items. Seems like a good deal to me, it’s clear what is in and what is out, allows for a monthly payment at no premium - albeit you’ll have loaned some of that money to Porsche for a while once you’ve paid your 24 months of instalments. Biggest benefit seems to fixing the cost today for the next 4 years.
Checked with my OPC and they don’t operate their own Service plan - would presume if there was a significant take up they would look at doing this as the Porsche scheme will effectively limit what they can charge for service work, a similar approach as to warranty work.

Yep exactly my thoughts so have signed up for 2 of our cars and that combined with the warranties will hopefully mean no further expense other than tax and consumables for upto 4 years. Having read the preceding debate on this thread I can't see why anyone wouldn't do this unless they really are anti OPC.Checked with my OPC and they don’t operate their own Service plan - would presume if there was a significant take up they would look at doing this as the Porsche scheme will effectively limit what they can charge for service work, a similar approach as to warranty work.
The fact that you can buy the plan and get the car booked into an OPC for a service 48 hours later makes it really flexible as well.

So I found something really interesting this week, Porsche offer service plans that are fixed price and can be paid for up front or interest free over 24 months.
The cost for my Macan is £56 a month and covers 2 MOTs, 1 Major service and 1 Minor service and includes the brake fluid change as well. The cost for our 981 Cayman is £66 a month for the same package. Based on what we've paid for the last 2 services this represents a saving of more than £600 on each car so in my mind is a bit of a bargain.
The plan doesn't cover every model for every year but it's well worth doing in my opinion especially if you're keeping a Porsche warranty. I'm hoping they'll add my B25 to the list this year as the first service is due in October

That does seem decent value. I wish I’d know about it a couple of months ago. Belfast OPC was £760 for my minor service and brake fluid change. £1,656 for both a major and a minor seems very good…The cost for my Macan is £56 a month and covers 2 MOTs, 1 Major service and 1 Minor service and includes the brake fluid change as well. £99 a month for 24 months for mine( 2015 GTS) , so 2376 for major then minor plus MOTs
Yet only £56 a month for our Macan, hence 1344 , doesn’t quite add up to me
Just checked, last bill for Macan was Nov 22, 6 year service, including plugs and transmission oil was £1552

Just tried that. GT4 excluded
718 or 981? My 981 Spyder is covered for either £69 or £96/month over 2 years (same price as paying all up front so effectively interest free) for either major and minor service plus MOTs or same but with 2 oil changes for the more expensive option.
Just checking a few OPC websites and it seems some mention fixed price servicing and some actually have this scheme shown in detail.
Being in the South East I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't be able to get our cars serviced locally but as Porsche Swindon have the details on their website that's good enough for me. Perhaps the others will catch up at some point

Looks like a god deal although unfortunately very few OPC's in the South covered, and none from Porsche Retail Group. Looks like a good deal if you're based up North.
Curious whether this service plan is refundable or transferrable to other owners.
Given Porsche retail group sites are owned by Porsche then they re the minimum ones I’d expect to be honouring this scheme.Curious whether this service plan is refundable or transferrable to other owners.

For the record I think Porsche have made a right mess of this service plan launch, sign up whoever is going to be on it, tell them all how it works, make sure the service advisors are up to speed, put it on the website, sit back and wait for the punters to roll in - in that order ffs.

My 981 GTS is excluded. Why on earth woul that be? It’s just an expensive Boxster S.
This would be a challenge….. which comes first…?

Website says GTS excluded yes but click on link from a couple of pages ago and it has quoted me for CGTS and Macan GTS.This would be a challenge….. which comes first…?

£99 and £56 respectively.
All a bit of a mess
