In Feb I quoted both OPC and a very well respected Indy for a ‘major’ 6 year.
The prices were 960 v 800
Tbh I was very surprised Indy was only 160 or 16.66% cheaper.
Why would any owner….
Lose their Full OPC Service History
Potentially have some problems further down the line re warranty work or a goodwill gesture from OPC if not under warranty
Maybe not get allocated a future desired purchase/not build a relationship with OPC
Decrease the pool of potential buyers by not being ‘Full OPC History’
Decrease the value of car by (guessing) 5-8% by not being ‘Full OPC History’
……..to save 160 every 2 years or 1.56 per week?
Ok neither OPC or Indy Porsche servicing prices represent fantastic value but I’d rather pay a bit over the top for the privilege of not getting my trousers taken down when I decide to sell
Final thought………What is good value these days apart from a bunch of bananas for less than £1?!
