Thank you - always a gamble with new PTS colour so I'm glad it came out well. Already making a few tweaks lol...

There's some more pics here;

Wonder if anyone has had a recent fresh allocation please? Wondering when the 2024 allocations will pop into the system…

Prices in NL seem to be around 110k euro more then the same car in Germany... because of the criminal Co2 gr/km tax.

in NL its one car for yourself, you pay and the government gets the same car almost for for free (netto price) which you paid for.

but, a nice car it is.

that does look VERY nice.
unfortunately i could not get a PTS allocation.
i have not seen a SRS in the flesh.
i have a GT3 Touring, that i think is the best drivers car i have had.
i wonder how the SRS will compare.

Allocations should be due very soon. I know of people who have had allocations before Christmas for March/April build cars.

Are you going for WP on yours? I'd like the wheels, but not so bothered about the rest!

in typical Porsche fashion, there are many embellishments on offer that do not make any difference.
on Rennlist there is a train of thought that questions options such as parking sensors, radio etc on GT cars....
due to my naivety, in believing that a) the SRS in typical Porsche GT style, truly a drivers car b) last of it kind, c) I am an absolute failure when it comes to predicting the future, my unfounded opinion that the SRS will be a very rear sight on the road.

I take myself to be really lucky to have been allocated the SRS so not getting a PTS allocation is not life changing but I would have chosen a PTS colour.
taking all that into account ...I have ticked almost everything.
PCCB, W Pack, etc......as I don't want any regrets
but I fully understand why others may go for a less spec.

I believe you can buy the wheels separately ~14k

Is it common for Dutch petrol heads who live near the border with DE to end up moving just into Germany (but still work in NL) for a more car friendly regime?

Not only for that reason, houses are also way cheaper over there, many live just over the border, some further in Germany, some places have 'many' Dutch people.

say a certain free standing house and ground in the Netherlands cost 550k, over there they can be 200k cheaper and mostly better surroundings, at least what I've seen over the years.

many years ago when I had a bit more energie, I also went looking for a house not far from Nürburgring, I thought, cheaper cars, cheaper houses and a great playground nearby.

But I was still alone and could not Manage such between my ears... also over there beautiful, but on a hill (many hills there) and in winter its a must to wear wintertires... even when dry and the hill by that house was steep? lol, all in all I did not go on, I saw alnone to many 'hill's between my ears.

But, some lovely places to live there far from big cities, so if you have the power and Go, it can still be nice, even in those crazy dictator/WEF/UN/WHO/etc times. biggrin

Very quiet in here - any more cars trickled through? Anyone with new allocations/hearing any word on how many UK allocations this year?
