Porsche 928S

First registered May 1984

The mileage is very low 41000 miles, the car has only had two owners .The car is complete and all the body panels are present and correct. With the exception of the badge the car is 100% complete. The car also comes with a new fuel metering head fuel pump and fuel filter.

The car is in dry storage under a cover

The car is available at £5000 or nearest offer. What do you think of the price

Depends what it needs doing to it. Is it a full restoration inside and outside? Is there any rust? Do the electrics work. Is it a manual or auto?

The paint and the body are solid, three minor blemishes. The inside is pretty solid too, just need to reattach some door panels. The electrics don't know. Its an auto

Sounds a fair price but as previously said it depends what needs to be done?
If it needs £15-20k to commission it then you need to do your sums.

We haven't even mentioned the engine! Seems okay at £5k but you could be on a slippery slope.

Just did this with another S4 for a DD. Body, interior and paint were solid. Managed to reduce asking price to £7K. It needed another £6K to sort all the other bits with a top indy specialist. I now know it's all been done properly and is good to DD for several years.

This!

Mine cost more to buy but so far I've spent less on but there's plenty to do! If it's generally straight then it seems like a fair price but as others have it could cost a lot very easily and very quickly.

There are those predicting increasing values so if you are keen then now might be good timing? Can't see them doing a '911' but I think they are undervalued when you consider what they are? Let's just say they won't depreciate!

Maybe get it inspected by a specialist?

Good luck with it

If it's in good condition and starts up first time then the price sounds very reasonable. If you've managed to drive it how does it feel on the road?

If the mileage is genuine and it's just been forgotten about then you may have found yourself a bargain.
