20 miles of pure pleasure.

Everyone should be allowed to feel the so connected to the road.

The anticipation of the engine starting as is does the slow turn-over is part of the charm!

That back-end twitch keeps me alert! laugh You don't get feedback like that on many modern cars. biggrin

Makes me want to get mine out of the garage for a run.

Just need to finish the brake refresh first ( new discs and pads all round)

I can't wait

Been driving it most days this week. Just makes you remember what you most love about driving.

Had also forgotten what it was like to have so many people smile and want to chat to you smile

if it's slow turning over, take the starter off and clean and lube the gear and spindle and bushing.

They were sluggish when new, so you wont be able to make that much of an improvement. A Japanese starter motor and a solid state pump-priming DME relay will have it firing like a modern car though.
