Hi Folks,

Probably a dumb question but can someone explain why some of these cars have round quad exhaust tips and other have dual or quad square ones. Also looks like the round tipped exhausts come out through the rear bumper where as the square ones come out under the bumper.

Is this / was this an option or did the design simply change depending on the year of manufacture. Much prefer the look of the round ones but they seem to be less common than the square designs.

Thanks

S has dual twin round pipes as standard. Non S has a single large pipe each side as standard with an option available to have the S exhaust finish.

The SportDesign package puts the body kit around the pipes.

Thanks breadvan,

That makes perfect sense although I'm still confused as to why so many 4.2 V8 Cayenne S Deisels I can see on the approved used Porsche website don't have the round quad exhausts. Does the model delete option also remove these?

The round quad exhausts were an option in either Chrome or Black on the S Diesel about £500. At least they were in March. The configurator which is still online for the old model doesn't show them as an option for some reason.
