Having just bought my 968 Sport I have been scrabbling around on Pistonheads to find somewhere to post about it and engage in conversation with other enthusiasts.

Having previously owned a 944S2 as well I have huge affection for the transaxle models. It's scandalous that they don't have a dedicated section on here. Seems to be 911 and 'everything else'. I used to have a beautiful 993 as well so I'm not adverse to 911s, but I still prefer my 968 wink!

Anyway - here it is. . .

I have no experience of 968’s, but that’s lovely. Enjoy!

Hi

I'm attaching this message to the one containing pictures of a pretty, blue 968.
I've just joined because I have a 968 cabriolet out of which I am locked!
Fitted an isolater switch to the battery,in the boot, yesterday.
Closed the boot and, hey presto, I can't get in.

I've read an extended conversation about the similar problem of cars with battery in the engine compartment, which sounds difficult but not as dumbfounding as mine.

True, there is a switch in the footwell, to open the boot, and it's suggested that I pull it out and put power to the leads.
Does this sound good, assuming I get the polarity right?

If not, I'm in a nightmare situation.

Anyone out there with a good suggestion?
