I'm not sure whether the yellow car has the factory M030 Konis. They do have the adjustable spring perches going by the photo inside the front wheel arch but they don't seem to have the damping adjustment that mine had at the top of the struts (with the black plastic covers in the photo). Maybe the later cars didn't have the damping adjustment?
The M030 factory option also came with LSD (option code 220) too. I have a vague recollection that the early cars like mine had the plate LSD while the later cars had a Torsen type diff but I might be wrong.
In any case, it's still a lovely car.

AFAIK original 968 MO30 discs were drilled....
I bought a full set of original M030 CS disks about 8 years ago I think, and as has been said not cheap, BUT the only disks I've ever had on a car that never show any signs of rust even after a wash, different composition to modern disks I guess ??DRH986 said:

I don't see the coil springs on the rear Koni shocks, or the radial mounts on the front brake calipers either. I thought both were 968 MO30 features...I am about to join the 968 Brotherhood, have bought a '94 Sport, should be with me midweek next week.. Will share photos when it lands..
Have never owned a water cooled / front engined Porsche so new to that game, but have done quite a bit of research/reading/Googling to know that these things are pretty solid so long as the service history ticks some obvious boxes along the way, and work done is not only the stuff that needs doing..
Have a mate who owned a Riviera Blue CS until a coupla/few years ago, so got some good pointers from him..

Your 993 looks good too, nice to have the contrast between the two cars albeit from the same era.

Yeah same model year..!Photo of the 968..
I have a 968 manual coupe in polar silver with black leather interior, 67k miles and I am the 7th owner, in very good condition and a full service history most recently in October. I have owned it for 4 years and it’s been great but I haven’t done much mileage as it is a 4th car. I am thinking of selling it at some point in the next few months, any guidance as to roughly what I should advertise it for privately here on pistonheads? Cheers

I would have thought with mileage like that, being a manual and having FSH, you'd be looking from 14-18kGassing Station | Front Engined Porsches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
