Edinburgh seem to think this Macan Turbo with Performance Package is in Voodoo Blue - looks a bit too light. Do you agree? I'm not convinced by the red accents. May be better in the flesh:

It probably is Voodoo as that was the colour used for the marketing for the Exclusive Perf Edition. OPC’s seem unable to adjust the settings on the cameras they use to photograph colours properly...they tend to wash out colours like Voodoo or Carmine.

I’ve got the same model with that interior, I think it’s great and gets lots of compliments. But mine is Sport Classic Grey which I think that goes better with the red personally.

The Turbo PP is a bloody superb car.

You're probably right. Red doesn't work well with blue, but it's still damn tempting!

I think that is Voodoo but as mentioned probably washed out by the camera. I've got the silver interior on my GTS which I think works better with blue.

It's not as red as it looks in that picture...the interior is Garnet Red which is closer to Carmine than Guards...looks like Guards Red in the picture to me...the exterior red is Carmine Red. Not sure how much this helps but these are a couple of pice which I think show it a bit more realistically.

Basically the red and the blue are both darker than they look in the photos...the picture of the GT3 below is a much better representation of Voodoo. Still not sure it works but I reckon it would look a lot better in the metal than those OPC photos suggest.

Voodoo should come with a health warning. Seriously damaging to your wallet.

On the subject of colours, I love primer / Graphite 'Blue' too (no pano roof though FFS):

Not sure about Fashion Grey on a Macan though:

I'm in the hunt for an S probably a diesel. Mrs likes the dark blue (night fall?) and I like the lighter interiors.
Looking around it seems like many have the pano roof which also ticks a box. Is there anything else that I should be looking for like the self levelling suspension or sports (GTS?) seats?

I don't mind taking a depreciation hit but do you think that prices will nose dive with the new model out?

IME they hold value well apart from diesels (which I actively avoided given all the current issues and I wanted higher performance). But cheap and bargain hard on a diesel.

Buy at least 2 years old and you should be insulated from the new model due to cost difference.

I wouldn’t buy a car without heated seats, decent wheels, PASM, BOSE and pano roof

The owner (friend of a friend) of this night blue one has a Cayenne on order:

I don’t think a light colour interior was available on the previous Macan. It’s not a common spec but we have a Moonlight Blue Cayenne S Diesel with a Black and Cream interior....not the most practical but I think it looks great. The Cayenne S Diesel is a brilliant car...doesn’t handle like a Macan but the S Diesel’s 4 litre V8 is just fantastic....for effortless performance nothing in a Macan comes close. This is the interior. Not an advert as car isn’t for sale!

Looks perfect for Bazza that one

Pano roof
BOSE
18 way seats
Memory package
Reverse camera

Wheels not the best but less important on a diesel S I imagine

A much trickier find and again bargain hard, as second hand market likes black or dark interiors IMHO

Having done u-turn on going full EV (E-Tron), I'm seeing if there's a deal to be done on this:

Great looking car. Get it bought! The Voodoo Blue car mentioned above in the thread seems to have sold

Yeah, they sold the Voodoo one (was Edinburgh too). I got them down on price on the one linked above, but contingent on taking their finance (so negating the discount). I gather turbos are expected to take a bit of a bath when the ‘new’ turbo is announced. A well-specced GTS is probably the better option.

Thoughts on GTS vs. well specced new S? I’ve driven both, the new S is very, very close in the fun factor. Looks very sharp too, especially in Carmine. Fantastic car, either way.

New turbo is well overdue. I had one reserved but it was just taking way too long. I think the older turbos will take a bit of a dip but their price has been held because of lack of new model - really its about 1year late at this stage so the older cars are 1 year older than if a normal production cycle had taken place but their values are being held so as soon as the next cars land the old ones are going to take a bigger fall, IMHO. Even more so as the new engine is quite a bit more powerful.

All IMHO.

If there had been a delay then that an extra year of depreciation of the old model which increases the price differential

I have just bought a high spec 2017 Turbo (and it’s fantastic) for mid 50s and it was 78 list. The new model will no doubt have a price rise so I don’t see 2014-17 cars worth £40-55 being impacted by a new 85k model. Might have a bit more supply as people swap over. The 2018 PP cars currently for sale for 75k might be impacted though
