I just wante dto check if anyone had acheived any sensible level of discount on a new Cayenne bought outright. Porsche seem very adamant that the answer is no, but has anyone had any success? Thank you.

I got offered free swissvax coating, which I’ve swapped for floor and boot mats.
That’s with £17k worth if extras!

Given how few of them they must be selling right now, you would think an OPC would be doing everything possible to bite the hand of anyone willing to place an order for one right now......its not like 3 years ago in the diesel days when they could happily tell people asking for a discount to Foxtrot Oscar as they could easily sell everyone they built for the UK back then.....

I can count on the fingers of one hand how many new gen Cayenne's I've seen around the London area in the past 6-9 months, which is astonishing given what the situation with Macan/Cayenne sales was just 2-3 years ago.

I suspect "b*gger all" is the general answer. I didn't get anything on mine bar a few free bits and bobs like a boot protector, but that was for April delivery last year when it was one of the first on the road. Ordinarily I'd have said you would be in a better bargaining position a year later, but with production still very slow (it stopped for more than 6 months last year) due to WLTP testing, there still seem to be long waiting lists on the few new cars they are importing.

Tell them you will take finance if they give you a discount....won’t get you much but would I would think get you £1k or £2k off. You can pay off after a month and the OPC still gets their commission.
