I have a GTS so not the same but I always think of the sports exhaust on mine being argued by 2 departments.
1) the sporty sound department.
“Let’s make it loud”
2) the pretend to be luxury department.
“They made it loud again, those b
ds. Beef up the insulation”
This goes round in circles until they both give up. The end result is that whenever I stand outside my car when someone else starts it up I think “st that’s loud” because you don’t get a sense of how loud it is inside the car.
That’s why the car sounds at it’s best with the boot open. Not entirely practical.

Just got one, My15 Facelift, Turbo (Sport exhaust, Pan roof, Chrono)
Bloody fast, as in RS4 fast.
I think it was around £110k list (perhaps a bit more), twice sold by dealers, therefore add in the dealer margins to the deprecation, three sets of tyres over the years, three services, one year of extended warranty...probably a set of brakes and you are looking close to £100k of costs over the first 3 1/2 years.
And that's before you add in

I drive to Tunbridge Wells every day for work. Being into cars, I tend to spot the same people every morning, and on the way home.
I always smile whenever I see the same Cayenne Turbo S. I'm there in my Macan D seeing if I can just nudge 45mpg as a 'challenge'. I bet he doesn't even bother looking.

Yes, I bought my car!
On the motorway I've acheived 28mpg! I can't complain about that. I average about 20-21mpg.
It is a bonkers car with rapid accelaration and overall performance. It is an absolute beast. For a growing family of four it works well. I'm pleased with the purchase.
It's a black on black car so looks very slick to my eyes.

As you say bonkers fast, and not bad handling if you trust the grip and brakes.
The only issue, I rarely get to drive it, so the wife has adopted it as her daily.
wait until you chip it to 586bhp, then they fly

Take off the rear trim pipes and sleeve the rear box with a tube each side (I cant remember the size you need right now). its a cheap fix to a 'nearly' sports exhaust and easy to remove if you don't like the sound. it brings the exhaust note to life without being silly

It's a fully loaded car as you'd expect with a TS, but unfortunately the original owner did not spec the Sports Exhaust - so I'm looking for suitable options to make it sound better and release that 4.8l V8 sound
