Hi all,

I've just replaced 3 tyres on our 2019 Cayenne and i've been advise that it needs wheel alignment. Kwik Fit won't do it and suggested going back to Porsche who have quoted £595 because the car has all round cameras. Is this normal/fair ask or best go to an independent.

Can anyone recommend a good indy in the London area, ideally South East london who can assist.

Thanks

Adam

In my experience with Cayennes and allowing my OPC to do a geo due to uneven front tyre wear is a waste of money and time. Take it to a good reputable independent and show them your Cayenne with the existing tyres to give them an inkling on what adjustments need doing.
No idea who to go to in your area but String Theory in Stratford is who I use for setting my RS up for track work. They are brilliant but there will be others nearer to you.

Agreed thanks for the advise, I was just surprised Kwik Fit wouldn't do it. I'll search for a local Indy

Probably a bit late, but I have used these chaps for my Cayenne, pretty impressed with the service. Belvedere, so deepest south east london...

Kwik Fit no longer seem interested in touching Porsche or similar high end stuff.

My independant Porsche guy suggested a local tyre specialist, they were booked out so I took it to National Tyres £70

KF could not work out the alignment on the car. The system wouldn't attach to the car properly.

OPC will charge you a load more than a local garage. I had my alignment done for £90 including adjustments locally.

Similar story with my car. When changing all 4 tyres I asked for the alignment to be done. The first place just could not get it right. I took it to another place that spent less than 10 minutes and it drove spot on.
