Thanks for the comments on the old 944 gents, I love it to bits.

It gets used very hard indeed in historic rallies and stands up to it nicely.

It simply eats cash at the moment though while we iron out a few niggles.

I've always been an advocate for leaving the Porsche forum as one big eclectic mix.
But hey ho got to move with the times.
My own 3.2 Carrera Super Sport that has sucked probably a fare few quid more than Benjj's 944 and we are still not finished yet wink

Tentative vote of approval.
Something had to be done, I couldn't stand yet another 'who's getting a new GT3' thread.

I agree and as my 996 is now 12 years old maybe I can post in here. Alternatively maybe we should just have 2 porsche forum : 'GT3 ' and 'all other Porsche'.

I quite liked it as it was! The Pistonheads Porsche forum was the busiest Porsche forum in the UK!

I wonder if the diversity will limit the amount of people who will see any particular threads?

ETA, but, I guess there is nothing to stop us posting our threads in the Porsche general forum!smile

Totally agree with this as i am a fan of all Pork old and new and yeah i cannot be bothered to trawl through all threads in different catagories
Think its a bad move personally............maybe a blessing in disguise though and keep me away

Ferrari has been split as well.

Although you have to own a chest wig to post in the Ferrari Classics section.

I really like the new split, this where I will come too most. Not saying I will never look at the other Porsche sections, but not much interest in the newer stuff.
