Very nice. I like the "pure" lines of that - quite subtle.

If that really is rust-free (which I doubt) it's a steal!

I agree, but get that rear badge put in the right place, it looks awful so low down.

He says he bought it from RS 911 in Wales (classic Porsche restorers / repairers).
It could be as good as it looks.....

+1. I wasn't in the market for one of these but that is very tempting.

That does seem very reasonable and extremely good value if it is as described. I would be amazed if it was rust free, but RS911 do have a good reputation.

But these cars can hide some expensive nightmares, take a look at these photos of the restoration job PC Chester are doing pc chester pics. This car was brought for £10K and from some photos doesn't look too bad as it was delivered, it was still shinny, but see what was underneath!!!!

Jeez! The guy isn't adverse to an inspection so a good Indy or P Morgan would highlight these issues? How much of the rust would have been seen before stripping on that blue?

Always interesting to see a full bare-metal resto... what does a job like that cost to do?

Are 993's prone to under body rust?

We were over there for a visit and they were looking at 300 hours at least, I don't think there would be any change out of £30-£40K

They don't seem to be and not in the same way. They have the usual problems around the windows and scuttle? plus the door check straps.

I have seen a couple with dodgy sills though.

Yes 993's are prone to rust on the leading edge of the rear arches and round the front screen
