Will do. Think I may have already seen you whilst pottering around in my 997. Can't remember where but you do not see many LHD Caymans around. May even have been on Monday when I popped down to Putney to buy the car.

If was Monday, it would have been at 5am on my way to Gatwick! Mine is the white one. Is your 997 a GTS?

Very nice car.

I've just done the same, here's mine.

Before I collected mine I was, like some of the posters here, dead set on getting rid of the wing, but the more I look at the car, the more I like it with the spoiler.

Sorry.

Is that the one that was for sale at Silver Arrows? Looks lovely. Just bought very similar...1989 3.2, no spoiler, but in Baltic blue. Bit of a culture shock from modern stuff, but that's what I wanted.

I'm not clued up on my old Porsches but that looks absolutely perfect to me. What model/year/spec/trim is that?

Black black 1989 Carrera with sports seats. Thats about it I think and its an original panel car. Love at first sight! Been looking for the right car for about 2 years. Seen a lot of rust buckets in that time. For a black car its in amazingly tidy condition and most of the paint is original.

That is a cracking car that I had stolen from under my nose by a dealer for £26k back in March. Despite its low mileage it has had a top end rebuild - by Leigh's Garage in Fulham from memory - so should be good for years to come. Previous owner was a 911 enthusiast.

Lovely car, but I have to admit to preferring having the spoiler on the back. I'm not super keen on ducktails on later cars either. Very dull person me!

Although still period-correct on an impact bumper car....74 RS...
