I've loved Jensen Interceptors since i was a kid in the early 70s and this one seems a particularly nice conversion with the new interior. updated brakes etc plus a 550BHP engine..I can see where the £300K has gone on it however i can't see where the same amount of money has gone on the 911E especially considering that the engine etc has been left original. My favourite out of the three is the Alfa although i prefer the one shown recently on a separate thread.
Slippy your pictures above aren't working for me???
Working perfectly for me on my PC and my iPhone Rich

I think modified 911s (or Alfa’s for that matter) have the same appeal. Enhanced performance and looks and adapted to meet some specific requirements. How much you spend is just a case of how far you want to differentiate your car and your budget.
Amazes me that people part with such large sums. I am with Steve - do the mechanical / running gear conversions and keep the trim and looks closer to original. Great sleeper.

And I think the body mods are where things tend to go wrong/are really expensive to get right....most of the cars that I have seen with modded bodywork have some obvious floors or the details just don’t look right. All true, but if they’re shiny side up, you can’t see the floors anyway ... Someone buy this car please. Mintbird she has your name all over her!!

Used to be called Oshe...if you Google that you’ll see a few YouTube vid’s reviewing the car. I think they were trying to go for the Singer market like Paul Stephens and a few others and not getting close. I saw the car at a Bicester Sunday Scramble maybe a year or so ago....was trying a bit too hard in a few details.
IIRC there was an exchange on here in a thread between the guy running Oshe and the bloke who built that first car who wasn’t anything to do with Oshe. I think they commissioned that first car from someone else and then represented it as their first car.
Anyway they seem to have re-branded, The Aubergine 911 in that picture looks like it is running way too low !

Pon Porsche Leusden (NL) kindly lend me their heritage collection 1968 Porsche 911T 2.7 RSR spec.
It was my eldest daughter's 16th birthday and I took her for a ride in this 1.050 kgs 250 brake hotrod.
Very well put together car. A bit noisy though.
Well, the shell is T-ish... External oil cooler, very big Webers and full rally interior.

Watched that last night....kind of makes me want to fettle my manual 997.2 GTS in some way...mechanically. No interest in a carbon fibre ducktail etc. Gassing Station | Porsche Classics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
