Was in Paris for a few days last week and spotted this nice bit of air-cooled coolness being used for the morning commute.........

Was in lovely condition and I thought it was 3.2 but without whaletail. Or is it a SC?

Looks like a standard 3.2 Carrera (non-Sport with no front spoiler or rear tea tray).

I'd say a normal 3.2 as well. Isn't that the side/edge of the front fog just visable in the pic? I'm pretty sure the CS has none.

CS? Do you mean SC?

The CS (Clubsport) was only made in White or Black.

Ah, I see what you mean. Then I'm pretty sure its a 3.2.

Actually they did build at least one CS in red. smile

Ha Ha I've just been told that.. Also one in Silver apparently. And several US Cars in special order colours. And one Special order US CS Targa.

Fairly certain the above is a standard 3.2

The European market could order their CSs in several colours if not all options. They aren't seen in this country very often although I believe there is at least one Black one around. They also didn't have to have the decals on the side.

They didn't have the fog lights by default.

I'd guess at either a 3.0 SC or early 915-box 3.2 non-Sport with Fuchs upgrade (non-Sport had cookie cutters, early because of the radio antenna on the wing nerd ).

Looks nice. smile

Definitely an early 3.2 Carrera non-sport.

The script on the bootlid looks too long for an SC, the recessed front fog lamps (the SC stick out further) all point to a 3.2 and the wing mounted aerial dates it as an early model.

How about this for beard. It looks to as if the headlight cowl goes to the end of the headlight which would make it an American car as they had different headlights. Ours have a thin band around them and then the glass. Although it does almost look RHD.

The SC didn't have front fogs, I think they were an option or added later hence dangling down on little posts. Those look integrated like 3.2.

Telephone dials. Earlier cars had Cookie Cutters.

Sunroof a no-go on a CS - unless it could be optioned?

Oops meant SC although seems most worked it out.

So 3.2 then. Does look nice and understated without usual tea tray.

That is the killer for a CS along with radio and rear seats and rear wash wipe.
