It is a 1887-88 3.2. G-50.
Almost none of them had aero addenda in France. French hate the wings and love pure 911 shape.
Plenty of those around paris. Many still sleeping in the street!

My other half feels the same way about 911's.

Added for the UK market in 1981, so early SC's didn't have them.
PS I have no idea how anyone could know a car was made between 1987 & 1988 from that picture, it's not possible AFAIK.

Could have 964 replacement wings, they don't have side repeaters. But having googled SC images, most don't have side repeaters. Never noticed before.

At the end of the day it's a 911 and looks nice.

Could be a North American 3.2l car...

That will explain the lack of repeaters and the American headlamps.

CS? Do you mean SC?

The CS (Clubsport) was only made in White or Black.
Not correct. In Europe and other markets the CS was available in any colour.

But the OP was meaning to ask whether it was a 3.0l SC or a 3.2l Carrera and I believe that it is a quite common North American import.

When you realise that it has North American headlamps, the rest is easy...

Indicator repeaters weren't a super upgrade that Porsche was keen to introduce. They were forced on them and they only appeared in markets where they were mandatory.

American 3.2 Carrera. For the avoidance of all doubt its a shame that it isn't still running 6" & 7" x 16" Telephone Dials.

That's because the French have style.

The colour suggests that its a later car to me, but I am far from an expert on 911 colours.

Stylish indeed for 1887! Must have been great driving one of these when everyone else was in horse drawn vehicles! biggrin

It doesn't have the small side indicators because it has the long wrap-around bumper indicators that I think include the side repeaters - think this was a Federal set-up that matches the headlamps.

If it's Slate Blue then it's an '84.

Fancy that, thought they looked slightly different. Noticed the headlamps though. Plenty of beard material here, will be upgrading to sandals too at this rate.

Actually you could order the 3.2 Carrera Sport (Sport included Fuchs alloys, stiffer suspension, f/r spoilers) with the spoilers deleted.
The classic spoiler delete look was popular in many countries, until they tried 130 mph in the wet with a crosswind........

My first thought was pre-81 SC (due entirely to lack of side indicator repeaters), but then thrown by apparent US headlamps. Nice classic 911 whatever spec it is!
