I'm with a pal doing Stelvio and he has managed to lock his keys in the front luggage compartment on his 1985 911 Carrera 3.2. No locksmith will touch it so is there any way in, other than smashing a window.

Please help. PM if you like.

Cheers.

Are you in convoy with any other similar aged Porsches? You'd be amazed how many keys fit other cars door locks — although luckily they don't usually fit the ignition barrel.

Similiar thing happened to me a few years back in the middle of France in my 993. Doors auto locked at a garage with keys in the ignition.
I called my garage back in the UK for help and was told all I could do is call out AA etc or smash the 1/4 window which is what I ended up doing.
Managed to get to a localish OPC who said it would take 2 weeks to get the glass I needed. They had stock in Monaco. 2 weeks though....called Autoglass who directed me to a place 30mins from where I stayed and had it sorted the next day.
Whenever I go away I now have a spare set of keys hung around my neck!

Glad you got sorted.
