Awesome thread, and ha'st off to you Irish for taking on such a project, love it.

Acquaintance that lost the use of his legs in a motor bike accident but always wanted a Porsche, purchased an early air cooled (79 SC) with the Sportomatic fitted, he loved it.

He emigrated to France several years ago and took the car with him, think he sold it only a few years back.
