Get the cavities done as well. Spraying/coating what you can see is doing less than half the job.

No before and after unfortunately however this is my old 190e prepared using bilt hamber surfex hd at 1:5 ratio with water, left to dry overnight outside, then sprayed with dynax UB clear wax.

It is highly likely that you will already have rust in various areas of you car already.

You will need to address these before you do anything else. I am afraid that these things have a tendency of escalating.

Had a good poke around Sunday. Nothing I can see but didn't remove shark fins. I know one side is fine though. Haven't got a problem in the usual rear window spot. Underneath main body looked perfect.
Brake pipes don't though

What I'm assuming is the rear geo adjustment gubings had surface rust on. Applied a removing gel and the clear hi temp wax.

As for the rest of the car I don't think it's something I can do without a pit or lift to do it properly

Can anyone recommend some one in the London area for this treatment?

With London labour prices, I'd respectfully suggest that you'd be nuts to get it done there!

I don't mind a drive out to a recommended place but don't want to travel for hours on end.
As an example the chap in Rugby is probably too far for me to travel for this kind of work.

Rustbuster are in Poole.

Much as I like Rugby, Poole is probably a nicer place to wander round for the day.

Did you spray with the 6 inch straight nozzle on the can or no nozzle?

I use DINITROL 3125 and had great success with this over the years. For best creep do it soon while the weather is warm.

I have used on corroded areas to slow rust down inside the sills of a 944 I had years ago and it was so good I did a small local repair on the visible corrosion and left it at that. Checked it each autumn but it never got any worse, Excellent stuff.

I've got a 10litre tin of clear waxoyl I bought in 1968, intending to treat my new Mk 1 Escort but never got round to it.

It has never been opened.

I wonder if the V&A museum would be interested in it?

No nozzle, just aimed at the highest point and misted it downwards. It's quite viscous and dried to a semi solid finish.

Thinking about the surfex hd prep spray, the concentration was lower than 1:5, probably 1:10

While I'm at it, these guys were at the NEC classic car show, they offer a rust proofing service too, based near Peterborough/spalding
