HELP! Trying to track down seal for Getrag G31 for 924 Turbo

Hi guys I have a S1 924 Turbo, it's a 79 car with the Getrag ' snail
Shell ' dogleg gear box in it. The radial seal had gone where on the front of the box
, where the box meets the torque tube.
On the turbo it is torque tube, gbox, then the transmission on the back.
I have tried both Berelyn services and steve bull who is local to me, but
both have sent the wrong part.

A quick search online suggests that the seal may no longer be available from
Porsche; this my explain my problem.

If anyone can suggest any where in the uk that maybe able to help that
would be brilliant. I'm itching to get the box back together and back in the car!!

Porsche Centre Bolton have just completed a restoration on a 931 with dogleg 'box. It might be worth calling Adam in the parts dept - he's keen as mustard on the older cars and will be able to confirm part numbers and availability.

924 Owners club would be another good place to ask, lots of 924 turbos on there.
