Just seen this on 911UK, and have found a vid for it.

I must admit I quite like it, but at 1200 euros I can't afford that. Seems a lot better than their first attempt though.

Looks good with the interior of the 993 IMO.

I liked the red 'cup design 93's, but the sat nav is too small. I'd rather have a tablet. E's are good.

No DAB seems pointless given the cost, is that a UK only phenomenon which isn't relevant internationally?

I think it looks great. €1200 is around £8/900 isn't it? It's very expensive but Id sooner pay double for a porsche one that looks the part rather than a shop model. I especially like the way it fits in and the Apple connectivity which is somewhat hidden.

As long as it does euro maps jackal, it might suddenly be on my summer list. Damn this wine, I was dead against v cost. Now I'm thinking hmmmmm.

Lol. smile

Mines a long way from that, and in for service on Thursday. I just might enquire on price and availability.

I think it looks really good! I'd have it if I had a 993 to go with it!

Right...so I've just fitted a proper double din in my 986. The screen is bigger than on that unit, and it's mounted centrally in the car and higher up, so closer on two counts, yet it's still too far away from me to be particularly safe or useable.

I think that classic system looks nice, but the price is a joke and I cannot see it being much use unless you have a "radio operator" as per the advert...

It's a classic - example of form over function. It's perfect for your passenger to look at and marvel at.

But for helping the driver navigate whilst driving, the screen is too small, and in the wrong place. So it's not.

Saw this then other day and thought it would look quite good in the 944. However its not €1200 good. Back to looking for a nice Android double din unit.

Looks fine, but I still think the Becker Mexico looks like a better piece of kit.
