Coincidence the advert was pulled while we were discussing it?
Seems funny. Was considering a look at it. Sat for so long would worry me if not used regularly. Stuff does dry out and go off over years

Brackets are at the sides - the back is four screws into the rear heat-shield. Probably caught it on something else in the display cabinet.

ETA I've just spotted the rear-wiper is broken smash ...how much are they? 150 GBP?

Why would you publish such a photo?

You guys have sharp eyes! ;-)
Why would you let a 50k car be photographed with a bust rear wiper? Can see some cracks on the leather seats.

Ask them for the options codes. (Man at Hexagon quickly does a google search).

Ask them for a photo of the options codes.

But quite seriously, I would budget for 10k GBP to get that sorted. More if the engine has to come apart to get at the through-bolts.

Assuming its been stored rather than driven I'd be looking at hoses, tyres, clutch/flywheel incase it got stuck on, that sort of thing.leather might have dried out if not fed.

Doesn't look like full-leather from here. Or sports seats. But it does still have the original Blaupunct Bremen RCM43. (psssst you can put that in the advert if you like - that's a freebie)

If it had the RS 'comfort' spoiler set why does it have the button to lift the rear spoiler?

Also, it' was missing the chin splitter rubber inserts at £700 a set.

Its a big chunk of money to commit so it needs to be right. Please critique!

Agreed, they're excellent for mopping up Alaskan oil spills.

I have just had a look on the Hexagon web site at this car.

If the RS parts and the aftermarket wheels were removed, and it was fitted with some genuine Porsche wheels, had the wiper arm replaced and had the seats fed/treated/restored it would IMHO look great. If the RS bits remained and the car had some proper Speedline RS wheels it would look even better.

I love speed yellow (my dad had a SY 993 when I was younger and I have always wanted to get one), I gave up looking in the end as I couldn't find one when I was searching for a 993.

"That" car was tiptronic, classic grey interior with a smattering of wooden trim, turbo front bumper, and a higher mileage (although in fairness, the "mileage" did vary up-and-down by quite a bit)...

Absolutely, but at 50k to start with, minimum 10k to get it driveable, it doesn't add-up.

(that'll get it sold hehe )
