If it had the RS 'comfort' spoiler set why does it have the button to lift the rear spoiler?

Also, it' was missing the chin splitter rubber inserts at £700 a set.
The RS bits have been added later - the car is a late '93 or early '94 build (as it has 964 heater blower and air-con pipe routing), and so pre-dates the RS by a couple of years...

If its an early 993 it might be one of the fabled 'First 12', registered on the 7th of December 1993.

If so, here's a comparison. The late BOO152 had a manual Speed Yellow registered 7th December 1993. It was 100% original complete with 16inch Cup 1s. It had black leather interior with the correct (and prefered to the comforts) big bolster sport seats. It had full service history and a few years back had a full over respray. The car was a two owner and he'd owned it from 1998. The car had covered (I believe) 107K miles.... So worthless for the idiotics of this world.

You could not ask for a better history, or provenance. It was up for sale a couple of months back (in my mind way to cheaply) for £28K AT A DEALER.

Now I know which out of the above and HEXAGONs I'd prefer; saved 22K in the process and had a correct car with no agenda.

Easily available but expensive from an OPC, they protect the front PU from damage such as kurbs and high speed humps

I sourced some from the U.S. for $140

Was the above mentioned £28k car not removed from dealer website and then relisted at POA. Does anyone know what the dealer was asking after it was relisted?

Yup that's the one, pretty sure it was sold a bit too quick, never did find out why it went to POA..

I was in correspondence with the late owners wife before it went on sale, and urged her not to let it go SOR too cheaply (I really think some of the Indies out there are playing catch-up with 993 prices).

It should have gone for 30K minimum IMO. Saying that though, I'm assuming it has sold and the lady now has the dosh in her bank. I guess she could have gone higher, but then could wait 6 months to sell it.

Have enquired about 3 cars tonight and am awaiting calls returned. Also priced up insurance and can add one to my current classic policy with the Sunbeam Lotus on agreed value on ltd mileage for about £500. Not bad as ive 6 points for speeding in the Sunbeam and an accident 5 yrs ago still counting

If the RS parts and the aftermarket wheels were removed, and it was fitted with some genuine Porsche wheels, had the wiper arm replaced and had the seats fed/treated/restored it would IMHO look great. If the RS bits remained and the car had some proper Speedline RS wheels it would look even better.
Absolutely, but at 50k to start with, minimum 10k to get it driveable, it doesn't add-up.

(that'll get it sold hehe )
I hate it when I'm correct.
