Restored Grey 912 thoughts .....
Discussion
Just remember. Most parts of a 912 are the same as those of a contemporary 911. But a restored 912 will never be worth the same as a restored 911 BUT it will cost the same to restore as a contemporary 911.
So buy with your head and don't buy without getting it up on a ramp. Ideally you'd be looking for a PPI on it by someone who knows their pre-impacts well. I rate Peter Morgan for pre-impacts; he's been around them for a very long time!

I know of one that exists in the North-East. It's immaculate and looks sensational in non-metallic dark grey. Apparently the owner restored it to match a long-hood 911 he owns.
However, it used to be Irish Green, which makes me very sad to hear it's been changed!
That's the car . How do you value such a car . The spread of condition is huge. However, it used to be Irish Green, which makes me very sad to hear it's been changed!
