The best I managed was 3 15 but that was limited more by me the driver, the car is capable of something closer to 3 minutes with a good driver. Sean Edwards could get a 964RS round there comfortably in 2 55.
The towing eye is the Rennline item. I bought it from Design 911 which was just as cost effective as buying it direct from the US. Link to towing eye:

Under 3 minutes is pretty good for 250 - 300bhp.
Thanks for the link on the towing eye. I'm still undecided on tyres - waiting for some feedback on the new Toyo's before i make up my mind. Have any of you guys tried them?
My Toyo 888s (year old) held up really well. It was approaching 30 degrees air temp at Spa and I ran them 32 psi hot all round. They coped easily with 20 minute sessions in the heat. Ken of 9E was blasting around all day too but I didn't get chance to ask him what he thought of the 888Rs.Thanks for the link on the towing eye. Here's Sean Edwards driving Ian Reynolds' beautiful 964 cup on 888s back in 2010:

Absolutely stunning Steve
When you get bored of it please let me know
Spoke to a friend today about your project and he mentioned that 8" on the front and 10" on the back will fit the 964 no problem. So if you are looking for more traction perhaps there is a little scope in your wheel/tyre width if you are running narrower than this.
