My old C4 is currently been converted into a wide body. The wheels I'm interested are BBS E88s ie. 225/40 18x8 front and 265/35 18x10 rear (same as standard Turbo ones). However, I'm not quite sure the best offsets for both front and rear. They should be different from standard Turbos since they have wide tracks. Anyone had similar projects in the past? Many thanks.

It's going to the paintshop in the next couple of weeks. I've taken some pics when I visited the shop. However, I haven't got the time to edit them, yet.

I'm getting the wheels from http://carnewal.com/

Are you retaining the narrow body rear trailing arms or are you going with turbo ones ? Assuming the former, then I would go with 8.5J at the front (could go 9J if you wish) with 235/40 and 11J at the rear with 295/30. The rears you need to get the offset around 3.8RS which is around +5 - depending upon how the rear arches are done may be safer to go with something like +10 and adjust with spacers to suit.

Thank you for your reply. I'm retaining the narrow body rear trailing arms, don't want to have spacers either. The arches are OEM parts. Due to the costs and ride quality, I would prefer to have 225/40 8x18 for the front and 265/35 10x18 for the rear. In this case, what will be the best offsets for both front and rear? Thanks.

For fronts you can use same offsets as NB or Turbo, I'm sure Gert will be able to suggest. For rear you're looking at around 0 offset if you want to fill out the arch and have it looking nice imo.

I've emailed Gert several times. It seems he couldn't give me a definite answer on the offset for Turbo's front wheels. And I couldn't find any info online, either. Do you happen to have the figure? Thanks.

Just found the front wheel offset on Turbo is 52:

Anybody know what's that in imperial measurement? Thanks.
