Hi All

Can the headlights be adjusted for driving on the right in Europe or do I need to buy stickers for the headlight lense?

Thanks Chris

Pretty damn sure they can ....... However, in the end I decided to pay the absolute rip off price for the stickers from Halfords, purely because the Gendarmes check for them quite often when you get off the ferry, and I just couldn't be bothered having the hassle explaining myself if they pulled me over.

If you do go for the stick-on ones ...... Well done if you can suss out where on the lens you stick them. I've never yet been convinced I've got them anywhere near where they should be stuck. smile

Is easy peasy.

Release the headlamps via the locking pins under the bonnet
Slide the lamps out towards you.
Unplug the leads
Find the metal slidy thing on the back of the lamp and slide it into the opposite position.

Done!

Hi guys. Really sorry to resurrect an old thread but which position for the slider is "normal" position and which is "Europe" position. My headlights point in a funny direction and I can only seem to adjust them up and down by using the two hex screw and as such I am wondering if the slider is in the wrong position

Many thanks in advance

IIRC it's marked on it. But if unsure, do one and check it on a garage door or wall.

I did a factory collection on a 911 and was surprised to find a year later that they'd set mine to german adjustment.

I went to use mine, and found that the metal adjustment tab has gone awol.

Is there a replacement readily available, or am I going to have to pay silly money for a new unit? Could just use the stick on things, but it's niggling my OCD.
