those are in the UK, they also have some for sale and they also build those cars to taste, only know them from the web, but looks good.
there is also a blue car the PS lightweight with a 3.8 engine...sweet. And look at that white Touring R with also a 3.8, that interior, looks nice without paying the Singer price.

I don't like the details on the PS cars...don't like the wheels or the switchgear amongst other things. I am sure plenty of people do like them though!

If it's just the interior you're looking for, they get SG Styling in Leeds to do the retrim. They did mine and I'm very happy with it.

Quite a bit of Dutch outlaw building going on. But as expected: hidden and not very well organised.

Dutch R Grupper: this car paved the way to so many great Outlaw efforts. Twinspark (Oegstgeest) has a handful of very well built cars on offer. They import Singer for BeNeLux and do their bit in racing parts.

Love the look of that.

I know this was thick end of 3 years ago, but what kind of budget would I be looking at for a bespoke car? I don't want to start planning/researching/making calls if we are talking gazillions. Ballpark is fine. smile

What would be your preference for a base car? Cost of parts vary massively between the generations of 911.

£350k is the go to Tuthill and give them free reign to take the piss/max out on pretty much everything budget. Really depends on which car you start with....as in do you go with something like a 71T or a later car and backdate it is you want a longhood look. One thing that will massively effect the price is if you are happy with LHD for two reasons a) LHD cars are cheaper and b) you are more likely to be able to buy a cheap LHD car that has solid bodywork. Cheap RHD cars with solid bodywork don’t really exist !

What is it with these awful interiors, can you imagine sitting in that cabin for 5 hours!
The hotrod with the turbo, great idea but leave the engine lid shut showing that intercooler set up.
350k! plenty of good companies if you know who to go to for 200 and a lot less.

Frank knows his stuff. Like more than a dozen Porsche workshops do. Some fantastic cars are being made here. PR is not a Dutch virtue though wink

Thanks guys. Been looking at the number of 80's 3.2 cars for sale for c.£35k and thinking they would take a lot of the 'prep' out of the build. Truth be told, I think I'm daydreaming a bit. I can't imagine justifying dropping more than a nice few-year-old 911GTS and then justifying that to the OH! biggrin

The yellow car has a good stance, looks good.

I also found a very nice 1990 car, sadly? a 3.2 car, also almost completely build up also the engine, great stance and colour and 'just' 60k and I think it really looks lovely, almost the same wow as the yellow car above, but then way other colour and interior, but still same-ish wow, but for a lot a lot less.
Also near by... maybe I take a peak over there in a few weeks.
