I’m biased but I love what RPM Technik do. I have owned a few flavours of 911 and my brother has a 996 GT3 which I use but for me, the CSR, as a drivers tool, is miles ahead of PS Art stuff.

The 6.GT3 is still the daddy but I prefer the way my car looks and it’s considerably cheaper.

Yes agree. The build quality is miles ahead

Maybe not what the OP had in mind exactly , but case it's of interest my old viper green one is now on PH classifieds.

I get an asset is worth what anyone's prepared to pay for it and i also get there is man hours gone into restring and rebuilding a car like that but 87K for me is bonkers.

I'm not 'dissing' the car and i appreciate having been a porsche follower for years there is a strong following for the marque but for me there is only now downside to paying that.

A rare RS car maybe but even then i think time to look elsewhere ..

Just my 2p of course

For me i'd rather sink that cash into a 997 GT3 which is still very much a raw car but at least a 'full breed'. I get that Tuthills etc make great car and as stated previously loads of man hours by a well respected outfit but for me its waaaaaay too much . As for PS Autoart competing with Singer well that's frankly a joke in my eyes .

But if you had a genuine 2.7RS then a much cheaper recreation might be a good stable mate as a runabout ?

As to the gt3, a 997 was suprisingly (to me) similar to my 89 carrera in the way you needed to transfer weight to get the best out of it, just at much faster speeds.

Great car.
