He should really have a chase drone sending a live video feed direct to this thread..... Slacker.
You can get a drone that will follow you like that I believe. That would be fun.

If anyone has a suggestion, and it's not zillions, I would have a look.

Spectacular bit of the world.

There's a drone on here that can do 60mph, but its £3k and all I wanted to do was find out if my bike could fit in the boot!

Thank you, over 50 now, I did Brittany, Paris and Lugano in February before we were all put under house arrest.

Seriously? And Mrs Aide is ok with this is she? Gosh.
Ah yes, she suggested it, I was initially going to Bournemouth for a fortnight to get on top of work. However, a month in the south of France is more or less the same price.

It's an interesting debate though.

There are hundreds of people locked down, with kids at home trying to do jobs that require uninterrupted silence, but have nowhere to go.

Under normal circumstances working from home a couple of days a week, with the kids at school, is perfectly ok.

But right now, trying to juggle a job with a home life - all while under the pressure of lockdown and with absolutely nowhere else available to work or live or unwind except home - puts strains on life that no one, in their infinite wisdom, could have ever envisaged. So, getting away doesn't just make sense, it's cruital I think.

Just arrived on the outskirts of Bordeaux.

A nice country road route to get here.

A very stiff little car, grear suspension, great on twisty bits, the wheels rarely loose contact with the road.

Surprising how much you can fit into a 993...

And still be able to literally red line it in 4th down bumpy forest roads.

Totally amazing car.

I've done the Raid Pyrénéen a couple of times.

This weekend I might see if I can drive it in 5hrs instead of 100hrs by bicycle.
