Ammo of car detailing fame on Youtube had a replacement roof fitted on his 964 to dispense with the sunroof. Also on youtube and quite a complex panel fit with gutters needing folding and dressing.

Alternatively you can get a purpose made replacement panel and fit it. Highly effective at a fraction of the cost. I’ve mine fitted about seven years and there has been no issues at all.
