Expansion tank breath dripping a bit of fuel 964 ‘92

Guys, I have a 964 ‘92 RS and I noticed a smell of petrol ( more than before) when I stop the car more recently. There seems to be a small amount of fuel dripping out of a small breath pipe that protrudes just behind the L front wheel. It’s not a lot and stops within a minute but wondered what the cause would be. The tank is the ‘normal’ 92 Li unit fitted to the lightweight version.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
