Spotted this RSR replica/recreation/tribute (call it what you will!) at a local classic car meet last night. Anyone on here?

There's a very similar-looking car in the classifieds, but it's not the same car.

I just don't see the point. You get an old car, spend a fortune on it making it look retro modern and having all the things a modern car has. Just get a gt3 and you have a better, cheaper (130k 991.2 compared to asinger 500k +) car with everything you will ever want.

If you are getting a restomod, get one that drives and feels like a classic, like that rsr tribute Otherwise, just dont see the point.

BTW, have to agree the Gunthers look awful.

PAINT: Fiona Metallic #1' --- $6,500
PROTECTIVE FILM: Whole Car --- $7,500

Errrr….nice touch hehe
I missed this post.
Having found it, I did a bit of a deeper dive on the options list and I couldn't help but notice the :

"GROMMETS: Nickel --- $2,000" in the Internal Trim section.

Intrigued, I thought it might be the oval seat belt grommets had been machined from or finished in nickel, but no, it's the round metal grommets to be found in the seat facings.

There's 16 of the little blighters in each seat, at $2000 I make that $65 each, or £50 each in our Great British Pounds ...

eek F*ck me, I've seen it all now hehe

At this point you are not selling a car. You are selling a dream.

Its a bit of emperors new clothes for me. Surely if you get a singer type 911, essentially a widebody 911 st on a 964 shell, you are looking for an old 911 feel with some modest upgrades. I just dont get the £500k + for essentially a detuned gt3 in a retro bodykit.

But each to their own. If I had a singer I wouldnt be upset!

It is kind of a restomod, but it seems expensive or is that a fair price?

not so my taste, also what looks on offer I think is asking to much, I've seen way nicer cars for say 20k less, some even with 3.8

I really like their rear deck 'spoiler' like a little nice stylish ducktale-ish just a bit, do not like the big ducktails anymore.
