Had a daily driven 993 CarerraS from 2003-2009. Considered a change to a 996 GT3-RS but settled on a 360 Modena until 2011. Enjoyed that so much that I upgraded to a Challenge Stradale, which I still have. Epic car completely focused on doing one thing extremely well, unlike the 993 which is an all round great car. However, it doesn’t come close to the driving experience of the CS. Recently added a 308, not fast by modern standards, but a lovely thing to drive nevertheless. It’s a totally different experience to the modern stuff, which is exactly what I was after.

Agree on the 308, fabulous thing. Also a great car to go alongside a 993.

Or a CS for that matter!

Before the 993 CarreraS I had a narrow bodied 993, always thought that was the better driving of the two, although the S wins hands down on looks. Before that it was a 3.2 Carrera in the ‘90’s. It was used in all weather and completely rotten when it was sold after 7 years and many miles. It went bad from the inside out, so superficially looked fine.
I’d quite like another 3.2, but would be very cautious about one that hadn’t had a lot of remedial work done.
Have to say the 308 is the better car though based on experience of both.

A white QV, now that's a rare beast! Kudos for not choosing resale red! Mine is red but your first Ferrari always has to be red doesn't it smile

Agree the 308 is a better car overall than the 3.2. It doesn't have that bank vault build of the Porsche but so far it's been more reliable and cheaper to run. In terms of desirability it's still a close run thing however.

Also, I daresay you would have got the same result from a 308 after 7 years all weather use and many miles ..
