993 GT2 prices

Try, www.gtclassics.co.uk Burzel will be along shortly with the verdict for immaculate low miles rhd versions.....
I believe C. Harris paid 130 big ones for his very nice but not in the Burzel league rhd Gt2.
These things are rare enough, what I find intersting is that there doesn't seem much difference between Clubsport/ comfort versions and '96 (ali doors,original) vs '98 Evo versions.
When I say much difference, I am using difference as a relative spread of Gt2 prices against 993TT & TT'S prices.

Interesting, I thought they 'were' his. Has he sold them or are they SOR? And what has he relaced them with? Must be something pretty interesting.
As for me I'm yet to replace the RS, but as discussed at you place a while ago I will probably go for a 997S. Trying to find a used one in the spec I want is not easy. (-20mm suspension, PCCB's). If you here of one le me know.

New toys to be revealed in 2006 but they re both blut orange !
GT2 on market due to the proverbial buyer who agreed everything 3 weeks before XMAS AND THEN LITERALLY DISAPPEARED !!!!
for what its worth , yes i am prejudiced , i think GT2s are priced on history , mileage secondary , but unless one were to buy a car like Burzels rhd which is IMO better than new .............honest i mean that ...............it could go in any show anywhere or a Museum ............then u want to be sure whats been done to the car, by whom and how its been looked after or u can get a very smart kick in the slats to rebuild engines etc ! PROVENANCE and regular use, i would suggest dictate the Price Burzels maybe £150k?? Cars with no history dodgy unsubstantiated past £90k .................price wide enough to drive a bus through but with full engine rebuild £30/ 40 k ........................Dont say u were nt warned ! oh and of course dont forget there are nt many out there that have never been stuffed and there wont be any more so get em while they re cheap guys!!!!!!!

The 993 rs ,CS version and gt2 values have now moved well up, some example prices of cars that have sold in 05.
993rs lhd standard versions from 42 to 50k
993rs rhd sv from 45 to 63k
993rs lhd CS from 45 to 55k
993rs rhd CS £73k
993gt2 lhd SV 70 to 110k
993gt2 lhd CS 85 to 120k
993 gt2 rhd SV 115 to150k
Cars with special colours will demand a little extra,also cars that have been breathed on by rs tuning,but at the Same time people run away from modified cars as well,just depends on the buyer.
All above values are based on cars that have actually sold, there for are the real term values. All prices are dependant on condition, mileage, service history, modified, standard etc. The gt2 market has been especially busy at the moment, and the days of seeing a gt2 advertised for 85k are long gone. The gap for lhd versus rhd has also closed up ,as its now difficult to get a genuine uncrashed gt2 or rs. There are simply not many around, but when they do come available they demand top money.
A good example of this is from what I consider the trend/market place setter!
The 73 rs, a touring version, non matching numbers engine and box ,but a good shell £68k,a genuine 73 lwt ,matching numbers, excellent condition £150k.People are now more concerned that the car is correct, rather than on condition only, it’s a different mind set to the main stream cars.
This is the way that a lot of 993rs and gt2 owners view their cars now ,and goes some way to explain the price differences.

The 2.4s is up and being used daily ................happens to be Blut Orange .............had almost forgotten how much fun driving to work cud be ............the fact its cost not a lot less than a997 s is a bit disturbing ............New Years quiz question on which will have retained most value in 3 years ???
2 nd question will be to guess registration plate of Orange beast ..............not to be done till abt mid Feb.......
