PS would someone be kind enough to translate YMMV?
YMMV = "Your Mileage May Vary"

I.e. You may have a different experience or opinion to the one stated.
Thankyou. I'd never have got there myself in a million years!

On the assumption that you don't know Garlick personally and so are not just 'joshing' and/or forgot to use a ' wink ', I think you've confused straight-talking (useful) with trying to make a point by just being rude and insulting (childish).

Edited to remove something I'd regret saying

Breaking something that worked perfectly well is idiotic in my opinion but not yours it seems. Nothing 'childish' about that is there?
Ah well.

There's quite a big difference between writing "Garlick, this new forum set up is idiotic compared to the old one" and....

Have to say though, if anyone doesn't think my 458 has an awesome engine, they don't have a pulse.

I'm a V12 man, owned the Columbo silky-smoothness, the flat-12 insanity of the 365BB, and will own, until I die, the gloriousness that is the F133 engine in my first love, the 550 Maranello.

But BOY, is that engine in the 458 something special.

As I've said many times before - Ferrari know how to make an engine. Be it 4, 6, 8 or 12 cylinders. Yes, you great unwashed, 4 cylinders too. smile
