Guide price is higher than any previous or current asking price and it is LHD.

This was on sale last summer (see centre of page)Guide price is higher than any previous or current asking price and it is LHD.

It was unregistered and unused then with delivery miles.

Crikey! It is certainly one of a kind. Interesting that they went mad speccing the inside but didn't go for the stripe which is synonymous with the CS / Scud versions.
Missing a few things actually (for my own personal spec)...No roll bar
No alcantara extra around the foot well
Colour coded stitching
3 point harness
Stripe
Don't think they have a hope in hell in reaching the guide. These things (LHD) are great value right now with a fair amount of choice, simply unrealistic...

strong optimistic offer...but I would love that spec: color is simply amazing. Works actually quite well with the red alcantara interior.Stripe? who needs a stripe
it might be a rare spec but for good reason the interior is horrid to my eyes. this is very strong money for a lhd car i would expect it to only get bid of around 120-130k being that you can pick one up for around 100k in Europe. I did see the car in the February auction but it wasn't in the catalog just in the show.

Possibly down to the fact it is quite high specced (bar the fact of no stripe)Guide price is higher than any previous or current asking price and it is LHD.
And it would appear its an unregisters 'as new' delivery mileage example - so surely for a serious collector that has some weighting even if it is LHD. Although i agree prima facie it seems expensive, but if you think about how low mileage f40s sell now - could bode well for a future investment.
However personally I wouldn't touch it, Ferraris are meant to be driven not pampered excessively and left idle for 363 days of the year (MOT and service being the days of use) I can't quite see the point.
These cars should be driven or in quite a few cases tracked so that their full potential be let loose - seems unfair to the car having it garaged all the time but guess that is the nature of some owners its merely an appreciating number that isn't taxable....
When I was first looking to by a cs a few years back I found a unregistered car in Germany at a classic car dealer. It was the same colour scheme as this scuderia, it somehow had 2000 miles on it though. The interior was everything possible red leather including the steering wheel, felt like sitting in a butchers. However I thought the paint was a little off and the dealer came clean it was originally black and repainted silver. I found it all too odd and even though it was cheap at £75k at the time, however I could see it has not been loved and it looked like rodent droppings inside the engine bay. I keep waiting for the car to show up again soon with a £200k price tag.
Personally I would rather invest in a car with paperwork and traceable history, much more peace of mind.

Over 30 for sale at the moment
Has the market finally saturated?
Everybody's thought the same thing. Oh soon as summer arrives I'll sell mine as I can make x amount! This is the start of that bubble everyone is talking about. Forums have 'talked' certain cars up. Now it's gonna take 12 months for prices to settle. Best thing you should do as an owner is remove from sale, enjoy car and re advertise once there true values found. Rubbish... Numbers are up due to the increase in LHD imports. Simple fact...28 for sale is an all time record as far as my memory recalls - Count 14 RHD and 14 LHD. Never seen so many of either TBH
When I was buying my RHD Scuderia you were lucky if there was 5/6 RHD cars for sale and probably less LHD at the time
Loads more LHD coming in now as they seem such good value in comparison and this is definitely a shift in the demand.
There is also a huge discrepancy in RHD pricing, up to as much as £40k on similar cars but the only ones I see selling recently are those advertised at £180k.
Maybe a lot of these cars are on SOR and the owners are being optimistic and speculating on what they can return.
This has got to be the peak now for 2015 and IMHO all the signs suggest a correction is overdue but quite the opposite is happening with dealers just keep upping the asking price and hoping someone is willing to pay that sort of silly money. It only takes 1
As a seasonal type car I would want to be in one now as its already May and the nights will be drawing in soon again
There I was with my basic economics degree thinking it was all about supply and demand

You can also see some ads are from private collectors.
I've been keeping track of sales for last 12 months and can see that the market has stalled.
There might be a few RHD's built, but overall the number produced was around 3,000.
